Nothing throws your life off-course as much as cancer. Since 2015 our lives were upturned time and again with visits to the emergency room, weeks at the hospital, early morning or late night trips to the outpatient units…and then for it to culminate in the loss of the one you had promised to spend your life with, it is earth shattering.
My husband’s health was the rhythm of the day and his death shook our foundation. My daughter said it best the day after he died when she asked, “What are we going to do now?” Six months ago, I really had no idea. My husband was a leader through and through; I depended on his guidance for our family. As much as the day to day of our home life was concerned, those fell in my hands, but he held the master plan and vision of our family. With him gone it was all uncharted waters and we were barely staying afloat.
However, I have four little souls that need me. They need their mother to show up for them every day, and I need guidance. Stephen has always encouraged me to find mentors that can guide me through life, so as a birthday present to him, I found a few mentors to set our family back on track.

This is day 3. Reclaiming my mornings, starting new habits, planning our future, and praying for strength.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.
I truly admire you prayers for you wishing and hoping all the best for the family
