We took a quick 15 minute break from treatment today to take in some sunshine and to readjust our mindset.

It is always hard to hear that over 99% of the blood cells in your body are blast cells and that all the standard treatment of modern day science is insufficient to treat you. It is also difficult to be spending so much of your life within hospital walls, especially for a man of Stephen’s spirit. Despite the bleak lab reports today, our doctors here are determined to help and encourage us to take things as they come each day.

So we will soak up a little bit of sunshine, take a deep breath, and continue down this road.
